Village of Carthage Planning Board Minutes

Present: Sean McHale, Chairman; Members- Mark McKenna,

Joseph Archer, Patricia Bush, Norman Barkley Jr.

Also Present: Ron Burrows, Mrs. Moses, Larry Hasseler Lawyer, and P.I.G. Students

Chairman McHale opened the meeting at 7:00 P.M.

Motion by Norman Barkley Jr., second by Patricia Bush to approve the minutes of the December 3, 2009. Motion carried unanimously.

Proof of notice having been furnished the Public Hearing on the Carthage Free Library expansion at 412 Budd Street was opened at 7:02pm by Chairman McHale.

There was Lawyer Larry Hasseler present to ask the Planning Board to refer the project to the Zoning Board of Appeals.  The said project needs to get the set back variances.  Upon the ZBA granting the variance, the planning board would formal adopt the site plan.

Motion by Norman Barkley Jr., Second by Joseph Archer. To adopt site plan upon the variance .Motion carried unanimously.     

Motion by Patricia Bush, seconded by Norman Barkley Jr. for the Planning Board to be Lead Agent, SEQR, is an unlisted action with a negative Declaration.

Motion carried to adjourn at 7:12PM.
